op.28 "Behind the Light" (2004)
Started writing this in late Spring but never had the inspiration to finish it. When I went to Taiwan I haven't seen my grandmother in many years so I decided to compose it for her. It came easily, the music to me feels like wacthing rain and at moments the clouds and greyness being washed away with sunlight. It was meant for piano but I recorded it for a harp. I think a harp adds an angelic beauty to it that a piano didn't have.
